Vecture was founded by Nick Mackie, a former Visa executive with 25 years in payments, mobility and IoT, who spent the last 12 years transforming digital payments at a global scale.

 

As the founder of Visa’s Global Urban Mobility business, he scaled it from inception to over $10 billion in annual payment volume, enabling seamless payments across 850+ transit systems worldwide, including London, New York and Singapore. By forging partnerships that bridged payments and mobility, he accelerated project launches 30x and positioned Visa’s Cybersource tech stack as the market leader in mobility.

 

Previously, Nick led the rollout of contactless payments across Europe, driving adoption beyond 90% of Visa-processed in-person transactions, and setting the blueprint for the other regions - including North America - to follow. A true innovator, he holds three international technology patents.
